Our Design Process

1. Consult

After receiving your initial contact request (click here to contact now), we will arrange by phone or email a complimentary appointment to discuss your design vision, from colors and style to priorities and function.

Hand samples and books of Hunter Douglas blinds will be supplied if necessary.

Once we have a clear understanding of your design vision, a design fee of $150 per room is collected to move forward in the design process, unless you only require binds, shades, shutters

2. Design

At your second appointment, we will return and present you with several renderings using our cutting-edge virtual technology. We will also showcase hand-selected samples of fabrics, trims, and hardware that compliment your design vision.

Once the perfect design is selected, we request a 50% down payment before fabrication in our workroom begins.

3. Enjoy

The final stage of the design process brings your vision to life. On installation day, we will arrive with a professional, insured installer who installs and dresses the finished product. We are present throughout the entire installation to ensure and manage all final details.

Our goal is to provide you with a five-star design experience from the initial consultation to enjoying the final result.

It’s All in the Details

“Karen has helped me decorate four homes over the last 10 years.  Not only are the window treatments she’s made beautiful, interesting, and unique – but the matching accessories – pillows, bedspreads, and more – are perfect.  Karen thinks of every detail, large and small, from drawer knobs to wallpaper, and when she’s finished, the room is perfect. Her taste is impeccable.  Many of my friends have used KH Window Fashions, Inc. and while our homes are very different in taste and style, they are all beautiful and reflective of who we are.”
